Honestly, the texture and flavor of these biscuits are exactly what we all crave in a biscuit. Add some ghee, butter, or a homemade sugar free jam and oooowe! so good. I personally like to make biscuit breakfast sandwiches with a sausage patty, couple egg yolks, arugula, and avocodo - that will keep me super full until lunch!
Here's the recipe:
Makes 6 biscuits, preheat oven to 350.
2 1/2 cups blanched almond flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
2 eggs
1 tsp fresh rosemary
1 tsp fresh thyme
1 tsp fresh sage
Directions:
Mix all the dry ingredients together first. Add in the oil and eggs. Chop up all the herbs finely and add in. Separate the dough into 6 balls. With your hands form each section into a biscuit and place on your baking pan, lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 mins, and let cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy!
