Hidden Liver Breakfast Patties

GF, DF, Paleo, AIP, Whole30, Candida approved


Liver is one of the best things you can eat, the most nutrient dense foods you give your body. It is loaded with B2,9,12, Vitamin A, Iron, Choline, and Copper. If you struggle with energy and fatigue, anemia (or a woman that is still menstruating), mental illness, digestive distress, want a better immune system... this is what you should be getting into your diet at least 1x/week.


I have found that the best way to eat it is to HIDE it in meals.


Here's the recipe:

Preheat oven to 350, Makes 9-10 patties.

  • 1 cup shredded grassfed beef liver

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 5 slices bacon

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme

  • 1 tsp fresh sage

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

Ideally your liver is frozen, shred while frozen with a cheese grater. Cut the bacon into cubes. Mix everything together in a bowl. Form into patties. Place on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake for 20 mins on 350.
