Sometimes we just need a little treat & these are my new go to's! They take like 5 mins to make compared to baking something, love that almost instant gratification aspect.
Here's the recipe:
- 10 pitted dates
- 2 Tbls 100% cacao chocolate chips
- 1 Tbls coconut oil
- 1 Tbls maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions:
In a bowl heat the coconut oil & chocolate until melted, once melted stir in the maple and vanilla. Cut the dates in half and either spoon chocolate onto the date halves or dip the dates into the bowl of chocolate. Set on a plate of parchment and place in the fridge for about 5 mins to harden.
