AIP, Paleo, GF, DF, NF
Oh man, this was what I feel like I lived on as a kid! Instead of the preservative and additive boxed process meal this is made with whole foods and exceptional nutrient density!
Here's the recipe:
1 box Jovial Cassava elbow pasta - cook as directed
1 Tbls beef tallow - important for the flavoring too.
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion diced
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1 Tbls fresh thyme
1 cup mushrooms (thinnly sliced)
1 cup mashed white sweet potato
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup bone broth
1 Tbls Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp thyme
1 Tbls ACV
Saute everything together for the meat mix until cooked through.
For the sauce - peel the sweet potato and slice. Put in your instant pot with basket, on manual for 10 mins and with 1/2 cup of water. Once the potato is cooked, put all the ingredients in your blender, and blend until smooth.
Mix the cooked pasta, meat mix, and sauce together.
